How to get to the Arousa Estuary
The Ría de Arousa is halfway between Vigo and Santiago. Its two airports are the closest, approximately 60 km from Vilagarcía de Arousa. Neither airport offers regular services to the area, so it is necessary to connect with train or bus stations.
Buses arrive from Vigo, Pontevedra, and Santiago de Compostela. Monbús.By bus to A Lanzada, A Toxa, and O Grove from Pontevedra with Monbus.To get to Cambados by bus, from O Grove or Santiago de Compostela, also with Monbus.
The high-speed train line connecting A Coruña with Vigo stops at Vilagarcía de Arousa, as does the medium-distance train.
