How to get to Ourense
The nearest airport is Vigo, 90 km away, followed closely by Santiago de Compostela, 115 km away. Neither airport has a direct connection to the city. This means that you will need to travel to the train or bus stations if you wish to use regular transport.
With Monbus from Galician cities and major cities in northern Spain. Avanzabus from Madrid and Castile and León, and Alsa from many other cities on the peninsula.Allariz can also be reached with Monbus.
Directly connected to Madrid, and with increasingly shorter journey times (the high-speed AVE train is due to be inaugurated soon). From there, you can connect to any other place on the peninsula that has a link to Madrid.
